Taste of Columbiana Raises $5,500 for Columbiana Project Playground
The Barn at Firestone Farms is proud to announce the incredible success of the inaugural Taste of Columbiana, held on Sunday, July 19, 2026.
What began as an idea to showcase the outstanding restaurants, wineries, breweries, and local businesses in our community quickly became an afternoon filled with great food, community spirit, and generosity.
The event welcomed 302 guests, raising $4,799 in ticket sales. The Barn also donated 100% of the event’s bar sales, bringing the total donation presented to Columbiana Project Playground to $5,500.
Even more exciting, that total does not include the proceeds from sponsors, raffle baskets, and 50/50 drawing, meaning the event’s impact will continue to grow.
This event would not have been possible without the incredible support of our participating vendors, generous sponsors, dedicated volunteers, hardworking Taste of Columbiana committee members, and everyone who purchased a ticket and attended. Your enthusiasm and support made this first-year event an overwhelming success.
Our goal was to celebrate the amazing food and beverage businesses that make Columbiana such a special place while giving back to the community—and thanks to all of you, we accomplished exactly that.

About Columbiana Project Playground
The Firestone Park All-Inclusive Playground project aims to address the need for inclusive recreational facilities in our community. By creating a welcoming environment that prioritizes accessibility and diversity, the playground will serve as a model for inclusive design and social integration.
Objectives:
Engagement: Collaborate with local stakeholders, including residents, organizations, and businesses, to ensure community input and support throughout the project.
Accessibility: Ensure that the playground is accessible to individuals of all abilities, including those with physical, sensory, and cognitive disabilities.
Inclusivity: Foster a sense of belonging and community by providing opportunities for all individuals to play and interact together.
Safety: Implement safety measures and inclusive design features to minimize hazards and accommodate various needs.
